Érigé en 1961 par le village de Grande-Anse et le Ministère de la Défense nationale, ce mémorial est dédié aux citoyens de la localité morts au combat durant les Première et Seconde Guerres mondiales. Il a été déplacé vers son emplacement actuel en mai 2013.
