Beechwood Cemetery, in partnership with the Latin American Soldiers Committee, invites members of the community to attend the annual Latin American Soldiers Committee Remembrance Ceremony at the National Military Cemetery.
This ceremony honours the service, sacrifice and contributions of Canadians of Latin American heritage who have served in the Canadian Armed Forces and those who have answered the call to serve Canada throughout our military history. Through remembrance, we recognize the individuals and families whose stories form part of Canada’s military heritage and ensure that their contributions continue to be shared with future generations.
The ceremony will bring together members of the Latin American community, representatives of the Canadian Armed Forces, members of the diplomatic community, veterans, families and members of the public for a meaningful act of remembrance.
All are welcome to attend. Arrive by 10:30 am please.
Together, we remember their service. We honour their sacrifice. And we ensure their stories remain part of Canada’s collective memory
