- Please join us for a Candlelight Service of Remembrance. The event will begin with a Royal Canadian Air Force Band concert. This will be followed by a Service of Remembrance to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the End of the Second World War, honouring all who served our country. We will also recognize the 100th Anniversary of 17 Wing Winnipeg - Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg. All are welcome. Note: Limited parking available at Brookside Cemetery. Guests are encouraged to park at Red River College Polytech Notre Dame Campus at 2055 Notre Dame Ave (south zone 1 parking lot). It can be accessed from Notre Dame Avenue. Shuttle buses will provide frequent service from the parking lot to Brookside Cemetery's Field of Honour.
