On Sunday, November 9, 2025, Veterans Affairs Canada will host a Veterans' Open Mic at Overflow Brewing Company, 2477 Kaladar Avenue, Ottawa from 13:00 until approximately 16:00.
Launced in 2023, the Open Mic Series provides Veterans with a casual alternative to the traditional commemorative ceremony and recognizes the important role music plays in the healing process and in bringing people together. Veterans, current serving members, their families and their guests are invited to an enjoy an entertaining evening where they will have the opportunity to share stories and songs or simply enjoy the show. All ages are welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
