This monument, based on a Bailey Bridge panel, commemorates the 40th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the members of 2 CER's predecessor units.

In service with the Royal Canadian Engineers and Canadian Military Engineers since June 1942

 

This panel was erected in 1985 to commemorate 40 years since the end of World War II and in the memory of Sappers of the predecessor units of 2 Combat Engineer Regiment
