This memorial plaque was erected by the members of the 4th Princess Louise Dragoon Guards Regimental Association and was unveiled on November 26, 1979. The memorial is dedicated to the memory of all who served with the Regiment from 1872 to 1964.

"THEY WENT TO BATTLE. THEY WERE YOUNG, STRAIGHT
OF LIMB, TURE OF EYE, STEADY AND AGLOW. THEY
WERE STAUNCH TO THE END AGAINST ODDS UNCOUNTED.
THEY FELL WITH FACES TO THE FOE."
