Biscay – Biscaye

This battle honour was awarded to HMC Ships that were involved in actions with the enemy during anti-shipping and anti-submarine patrols in the Bay of Biscay, especially during the summer of 1944 when they helped cut-off the escape of U-boats and surface vessels attempting to flee French bases cut off by Allied grounded forces.
