This memorial, a section of iron bridging based on a Bailey Bridge panel, was erected by the officers and men of the 5th Combat Engineer Regiment in honour of the first ten years they served with Colonel J.P. Pinsonnault, between 1968 and 1978. It was dedicated by Colonel J.P. Pinsonnault on the 23rd of June, 1978.
