This Memorial was dedicated on Dec. 4, 1988 by the 127 Squadron Friends in memory of F/S M.R. Sabourin R.C.A.F. who died near the location of the memorial when his R.C.A.F. Fighter Aircraft crashed and burned November 7, 1943.
