Erected by relatives of the deceased, this memorial is dedicated to the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars. On the base at the front is a depiction of crossed rifles. . It originally contained a die with ten names of those who died in the First World War. In September 1955, a brass plaque was added with eight names of those who died in the Second World War. The Havelock Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 86 holds a memorial service each year on November 11th. The Legion, formed in 1953, is responsible for upkeep, such as steps placed in 1996.
