Major-General Eedson Louis Millard Burns, Commander of 2nd Division and 1 Canadian Corps during the Second World War and Commander of UNEF I, the first United Nations Peacekeeping Force is remembered on a CFSME trophy that is based on his personal sword. The trophy is awarded to the top student of Engineer Officer Phase IV training.
