Mancuso Court, is named in honour of Private Francisco “Frank” Mancuso. A resident of Ottawa, Private Mancuso joined the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps in April 1941 and served in the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean and European theatres of operation until September 1945. For his wartime service, Private Mancuso was awarded the 1939 – 1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, and War Medal 1939 – 1945. The street was named in November 2007 by the City of Ottawa.
