Notice:

The National Inventory of Canadian Military Memorials is a public, crowd-sourced registry that helps Canadians learn about memorials in their communities. This mountain was named in 1964 in honour of P/O Francis Harold Lyne from Michel, BC. He was killed on 8 June 1944 when his 138 Squadron Halifax Bomber was lost during a secret night operation dropping agents and supplies into occupied Europe.
