In the foreground is a memorial tank of the Fort Garry Regiment. In the background is the front of the Museum of the Regiments that was opened by Queen Elizabeth II on June 30, 1990. During the opening the Queen viewed Canadian war art and a collection of Harry Palmer's photographs of Canadian veterans and their memorials.
