The National Inventory of Canadian Military Memorials is a public, crowd-sourced registry that helps Canadians learn about memorials in their communities. Inclusion in the Inventory does not imply VAC ownership or authority. Responsibility for the care, management, and any changes to a memorial rests with its owning or governing organization.

A New Dawn window, sponsored by the Imperial Officers Association of Canada, was dedicated on November 12, 2006. It is the work of Canadian Sarah Hall, one of the most accomplished stained glass artists in the world. Depicted in the window are the four elements: earth, fire, water and air, which symbolize the operations of the navy, army, and air force striving towards peace and A New Dawn. From the bottom of the window, the scene of reddish coloured earth with a devastated landscape moves to a tumultuous and threatening sea, and up through swirling clouds to the diamond-shaped light at the top, representing the dawn. On the outside a special tempered and textured glass provides protection as well as colour and depth. In sunlight it projects a rainbow of colours into the narthex.
