This window depicts the Coat of Arms of the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment and is dedicated to the memory of all the men who served in the regiment. It was donated to the Parish by Rev. Msgr. R. M. Hickey, MC (1906-1987). Regimental Motto "Pro Jure constans" (Forever Constant) is clearly visible. Painted in 1979. Monsignor Raymond Myles Hickey served as the RC Chaplain for the North Shore Regiment during World War 2. He landed, with the Regiment, on Juno Beach and was with his troops for the entire duration of the War. He has written several books, including "The Scarlet Dawn" - a detailed account of the D-Day landing, concentrating on the actions of the North Shore Regiment. He was awarded the Military Cross for his service to Canada and his Regiment. The North Shore Regiment is now the 2nd Battalion of the Royal New Brunswick Regiment, headquartered in Bathurst, NB.
