This memorial, erected by the Polish Home Army Ex-Servicemen's Association of Canada, is dedicated to the memory of Canadian airmen who flew with the Polish Home Army while flying support missions during the Second World War. The stele was unveiled in 1964, and the small additional plaque in 1995.
The large plaque has four symbols on the left edge: Maple leaf, Polish eagle, Royal Canadian Air Force crest and Polish Home Army crest. Items were added on the right edge of the plaque in 1995 when the airmen were posthumously awarded a Polish decoration: a bronze replica of the Polish Home Army Cross and a small plaque with inscription.
