An oak cross was placed in the chancel at St. Mark’s Church Parkdale, donated in memory of parishioners who lost their lives in the First World War. In 1983, Epiphany, Parkdale and St. Mark, Parkdale churches amalgamated. They remained at the Church of St. Mark that was located at 201 Cowan Avenue and changed the name to Epiphany & St. Mark, Parkdale.
