This monument was erected in 1920 by the Old Boys' Association of King's Collegiate. The tablet was inscribed "In memory of Old Boys of all ranks who gave their lives in service in the Great War". A mast from a ship that ran aground in the Avon River was used as a flag staff, and at the foot stood three guns captured on the Western Front. In the 1950's the flag staff was struck by lightening, the guns were removed, and the monument dismantled. The plaque was placed in Hensley Memorial Chapel. Circa 1980s, King's Collegiate School amalgamated with Edgehill Girls' School.

Shortly after World War Two this Roll of Honour was displayed in the Newport Station Community Hall but with its closure in the mid 1990's the Roll of Honour was retrieved by Mr. Herbert Edwards in 2000. It was restored by the Maritime Command Museum and placed in the St Croix United Church, where Mr. Edwards' late aunt, Mrs. Nellie Burgess Parker, the original calligrapher was a parishioner.
