Erected by local residents, this memorial is dedicated to three local soldiers killed during the First World War. Their names are also listed on the cenotaph outside the Borden-Carleton Legion.

On July 1, 2020, there was a ceremony to inaugurate a new flagpole and bench at the Tyron Cenotaph. The event was attended by several members of the community and surrounding communities. It was coordinated by the Tryon Women’s Institute, Tryon People’s Cemetery, and Merry Pop-Ins Childcare Centre, with funding for the flagpole and bench provided by Heritage Canada.

The New Haven Cenotaph stands on the property of the Kingston legion. The legion was originally a funeral home and horse barn before it was converted to a legion. It is believed the monument was created to commemorate the soldiers whose names were not yet on a monument from local areas: Kingston, Clyde River, Crapaud, Cornwall, Nine Mile Creek, Long Creek, Kelly’s Cross and Hartsville.

A monument "In honour of all who served" remembering the men and women who served in the military from the Kinkora area was dedicated on Remembrance Day 1992. It is located next to the Community Center in Kinkora. Mr. Justice Armand Desroches said during his dedication speech “In erecting this memorial and honouring our war dead and our veterans both living and deceased, we do not glorify war. Rather, we remember what has been done in the name of humanity and for the cause of peace."
