No Stone Left Alone holds events in communities across Canada to engage youth in the personal act of placing a poppy on the headstones of veterans - thus encouraging understanding and an ongoing legacy of remembrance for those who have served. 

Commemorating Remembrance Day at the Montréal-East Cenotaph, organized by The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #173.

Please join us to pay tribute to the memory of our military service men and women at the cenotaph in Outremont Park. 

The Remembrance Day ceremony will take place Wednesday November 11, 2026 at 10:45 am, at the cenotaph in Outremont Park. The regiment "Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal" will assist along with numerous dignitaries. There will be several speeches in honour of our veterans.

The event takes place rain or shine.

The Canadian Centre for the Great War, museum unit of the Vimy Foundation, invites you for a guided tour of our collections. Discover a wide array of First World War artefacts, ranging from helmets, unfiorms, and equipment, to commemorative plaques and historical photographs. 

In addition, come witness our exhibition "Forget-Us-Not: Remembrance in the Wake of the First World War," which explores the development of Canadian Remembrance practices. 

Special lectures on selected topics will also be delivered each day.

Join us for our annual Remembrance Ceremony. Starting with a procession at the corner of Curzon and Westminster. 

Prior to the ceremony, a small procession led by a piper, will begin at 12:15 pm from the corner of Curzon and Westminster, making its way to the Cenotaph.

Presentation by Professor David O'Keefe, an award-winning historian, documentarian and professor at Marianopolis College.
