Erected in the early 1920s, and rededicated after the Second World War, this memorial is dedicated to the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars.

Dedicated to the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars, this memorial was erected by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 19.

This memorial was erected by local workers and is dedicated to the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War. There is a white peak on the top of the cairn and a light is continually shining over the names on the plaque.

This memorial home was owned by veterans of three wars, the South African War (1899-1902), the First World War, and the Second World War. It should be noted that no one of any great military prominence has lived in and owned the house, but that is what makes it truly special. It pays tribute to the ordinary veterans. Mr. Paul Geofroy built the home and served in the South African and First World Wars. His son Paul enlisted in the army during the Second World War. After returning from service in the Second World War, Bob Johnson purchased the home from Paul Geofroy. In July of 1994 the home was moved from its original location to the Heritage Park.

"That all was not in Vain” is the theme for this section. Peace is illustrated through the portrayal of men, women and children during Thanksgiving in the prairie, and the role of the Legion Member in building an everlasting peace.

This section was designed on the theme “Lest We Forget” which relates to the Memorial Tower and its purpose. Depicted is a military prairie burial ground leading up to and surrounding a group of figures on Remembrance Day. Members of the three branches of the Canadian Armed Forces stand in uniform with their hands resting on the butt end of a reversed rifle. Sitting nearby on the ground are the grieving next of kin of the fallen.
