This memorial is dedicated to the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars. The stone came from Scotland, a twelve-ton piece of red granite, polished and engraved in Aberdeen. It was erected on an eight foot concrete plinth and contained forty-five names of the Grenfell boys who died. On Sunday, August 8, 1926, the anniversary of the battle of Amiens, at three o'clock in the afternoon the Rev. H.H. Creal performed the dedication; Mayor C.J. Rosborough delivered the address, and native born Hon. W.J. Patterson unveiled the column. After 1945, a sandblasting process on the other side of the Memorial engraved twenty more names. The Memorial sits in a well manicured lot where there is a peaceful serenity... a fitting tribute to the memory of these young men.

Erected by the community of Summerberry, this memorial is dedicated to the local war dead of the Second World War. In September 2021, it was moved from the school in town to its current location in the cemetery. Remco installers in the area saw that the local Legion was trying to raise funds to have it moved and they volunteered their time and moved it at no charge. The cemetery provided the foundation for the memorial.

Unveiled by Lieutenant Governor Newlands on 28 June 1923, this memorial was erected by the town of Ogema in honour of the local war dead of the First World War. A plaque was added to the front of the memorial to honour the local war dead of the Second World War at a later time.

The Ogema cenotaph, located at the south end of Main Street, was dedicated in 1923. Funds were raised by the veterans and the community to erect a memorial stone in honour and memory of the 42 men of the Ogema district who gave their lives in WWI. A second stone was added to honour the 20 men who lost their lives in WWII. Every year, on November 11th, a memorial service is held at this cenotaph.

In March of 1919, students at Nutana Collegiate (called Saskatoon Collegiate Institute until 1923) announced they would establish a memorial for the 29 alumni soldiers who died in the First World War. Principal Alfred J. Pyke instead suggested creating a Memorial Art Gallery that consisted exclusively of paintings by Canadian artists. They purchased one painting by a different artist for each fallen soldier.

John William Beatty's The North Country was acquired between 1925 - 1927 and dedicated to Private Grenville Carson Hopkins. Grenville attended Saskatoon Collegiate Institute from 1911 to 1915. He enlisted on 22 March 1917 and after only one night in the trenches was killed at Passchendaele on 14 November 1917.
