McCusker Avenue is named for Emmet McCusker, who served with distinction in both world wars. He was awarded the Military Cross in 1917. In the Second World War, he served as deputy director of medical services in England, Sicily, and Italy, and was awarded the Efficiency Decoration in 1943. The following year he was named a Commander in the Order of the British Empire and he was twice mentioned in dispatches.

Laird Crescent is named for Senator Harry W. Laird. He served as a Lieutenant-Colonel in command of the 3rd Divisional Train, Canadian Expeditionary Force in France. He remained at the front until 1917.

Kennedy Crescent is named for Dr. Norman D. J. Kennedy, who served in the First World War with the King's Own Scottish Borderers. He was awarded the Military Cross for bravery in action.

Keffner Bay is named for Percy B. Keffner, who served with the Royal Flying Corps in the First World War.

Johnstone Street is named in honour of Dr. David S. Johnstone, who served overseas in the First World War, and with veterans and as a recruiting officer in the Second World War.

Ingersoll Crescent is named for Lt. Col. Charles Cecil Ingersoll Merritt, the first Canadian to receive the Victoria Cross during the Second World War.

Hague Crescent is named for Flying Officer Albert Frederick Hague, lost in the North Sea in 1944 after serving with the R.C.A.F. since 1939.

Gosse Place is named for C. Hamilton Gosse who served in the Royal Canadian Navy in the Second World War.

Goodmurphy Bay was named for Albert D. Murphy, who served as a staff sergeant during the First World War.

Goldie Street is named for Flight Lieutenant John K. Goldie, awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in the Second World War.
