Dedicated in 1997, this memorial was erected by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 51 and is dedicated to the war dead of the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War and peacekeeping operations.

The Winnipegosis Cenotaph was erected in 1935 under the leadership of Angus Hay, a Veteran of the First World War. He brought in a stone mason and members of the Legion did the rest of the work.

Angus joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force with the Royal Canadian Dragoons, fought three and a half years, but was invalided to Canada in the spring of 1918. While in Deer Lodge Military Hospital, Winnipeg, he was part of the executive that formed the Great War Veterans, later the British Empire Service League, and later the Royal Canadian Legion. In 1929, he moved with his family to Winnipegosis and in 1930 he organized the first British Empire Service League in Winnipegosis. 

Erected in 1962 by the Royal Canadian Legion, this memorial is dedicated to the memory of the local veterans of the Second World War and is located in the cemetery's field of honour. The official dedication ceremony was 19 September 1962.

This memorial was erected in the 1930s by the Ladies Auxiliary in honour of the local veterans of the First World War. It was officially dedicated on 11 November 1931. It was constructed in front of the Swan River High School, which has since burned down. This memorial was upgraded in 2004 by the Swan River Royal Canadian Legion. They enlarged the base, installed two new stelias and two new flagpoles. It was rededicated on 8 November 2005.

The Shoal Lake War Monument was erected in 1952 in memory of the First and Second World War Veterans.

This memorial was constructed in 1955 and 1956 to honour the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars.

The idea of a memorial hall was first muted in 1919, following the First World War, in which five local men, Oscar Kerr, Frank Barker, William McMartin, Russell Robinson and Ernest Attwood, lost their lives. The Franklin Community Association Ltd. was incorporated in 1919, with the aim to build the hall.

On August 9, 1919, an agreement was drawn up between William Wylie of Minnedosa, Manitoba and the Franklin Community Hall Association to build the Franklin Memorial Hall. For $7,500, William built the hall using Number 1 Fir structure lumber, Canadian Maple for the dance floor, Portage La Prairie snider veneer bricks filled with best quality lime and sand mortar, and angle iron over the arches to prevent sagging.

The hall opened in the spring of 1920 with Mr. Aikens, The Lieutenant Governor General of Manitoba cut the ribbon at the official opening. It became the center of social life in Franklin and holds memories for those who trained for air combat in the Second World War. Airmen trained in the Towns of Neepawa and Rivers and came to the Franklin Memorial Hall to attend dances.

In 2012, it became a municipally-designated heritage building. The hall has had many renovations over the years and continues to be used by the community. The cenotaph is located in front of the building.

The Newdale & District War Memorial was constructed between 1919 and 1920 in memory of the community's sons who fell in the First and Second World Wars and Korean War. This fine tribute was unveiled by Lieutenant Governor Sir J.A.M. Aikins. The monument stands 18 feet high, the foundation is cement, the base and die of grey granite, and is surmounted by a life size statue of a Canadian Soldier carved in white carrerra marble by Signor Nicolai Rombello of Italy.

The soldier is in webbing (personal load-carrying equipment) and wearing a helmet. He stands at attention with his left leg slightly advanced and a reversed rifle at his side. The origin of the statue in Italy explains why the uniform was not 100% accurately Canadian. The carvers were usually careful to put a maple leaf where Canadian uniforms had this symbol (on the cap and collar).

In 1946 a bronze plaque bearing the names of the fallen of both World Wars was placed on the face of the stone.
