Ministerial advisory groups

Six ministerial advisory groups have been created to improve transparency and seek consultation on issues of importance to Veterans and their families.

Each advisory group has a chairperson appointed by the membership from among the members and a senior departmental official from Veterans Affairs Canada co-chairs. A representative of the Office of the Veterans Ombudsman is invited to attend Advisory Group meetings as an observer.

Would you like to join one of our advisory groups?

We have advisory groups for policy, service excellence and transition, mental health, care and support, families, and commemoration.

As a member of an advisory group, you can share your knowledge, expertise and experiences to help us improve our services. We are seeking Veterans, their family members or other stakeholders to apply today.
