2023 Women and 2SLGBTQI+ Veterans Forum
In February 2023, VAC hosted the third Women Veterans and 2SLGBTQI+ Veterans Forum. Veterans and stakeholders from the Women Veteran and 2SLGBTQI+ Veteran communities shared their experiences and perspectives with each other, community partners and senior VAC officials.

The 2019 Women Veterans Forum was the first of its kind in Canada to discuss specific challenges women face in their lives after service. Held in Charlottetown, the forum brought together Veterans, researchers, experts and organizational leaders.
The 2020 Women Veterans Forum was to be held in early 2020, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An in-person event will be planned when public health guidelines permit.
