Son of David William Adamson and Annie Laura Warner of Nova Scotia. Husband of Clara Mae MacDonald of Bridgeport, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

He was killed in a German air raid while the ship is in the Mersey River near Liverpool, England. Adamson was near the explosion.
