Domart-sur-la-Luce is a village and commune in the Department of the Somme in the valley of the Luce on the road from Amiens to Roye. Hourges is a hamlet on the same road a little south-east of the village and HOURGES ORCHARD CEMETERY is on the south-west side of the road.

  • Memorial Plaque– This bronze memorial was designed as a tribute to the men of the Eaton's company who died as a result of service in the First World War.   3,327 Eaton's staff enlisted in the war. It was unveiled in Toronto on November 15th, 1923 by Mrs. Timothy Eaton and on November 26th an identical memorial was unveiled in the Winnipeg store. The shield of the female figure bears the coats of arms of the provinces of Canada.  The Toronto memorial is located today in the Eaton Centre at Yonge & Dundas and is accompanied by a WWII memorial.
