  • Photo of Verge Alvin Kyle– Trooper Verge Alvin Kyle #L106626. Army Tank Corp. Picture was taken in July 1943. He was killed in a convoy accident near Camp Borden, Ontario on Dec. 9, 1943. He enlisted in the Canadian Army in Regina, Sask. on July 27, 1943, age 19 years. He was the first soldier from the Cadillac, Sask. area to be killed in WWII. He was a proud Canadian and died for his Country.
