Steven enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 16th 1914, he listed his occupation as "Iron steel roller" Steven died at Vancouver BC of the Spanish flu on Feb. 9th 1919 at the age of 42. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
