  • Grave Marker– Grave of 463902 Pvt. Alex Barrie Taylor who served with the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles C.E.F.
Born in Manchester England on Nov. 23rd 1886.  Husband of Margaret H. Taylor.  Alex enlisted into the 62nd Battn. C.E.F. at Vernon BC on Aug. 21st 1915, he listed his occupation as "Add Agent" Alex was wounded in 1917 and invalided back to Canada where at Vancouver BC on April 11th 1919 he succumbed to the wounds he received in France at the age of 32.
He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
