In loving memory of PTE Eleazar Henery G. Horwood
Beloved son of George & Tamar Horwood
Killed in Action Oct 20, 1918
While in command of a Lewis Gun in Belgium
He is gone but not forgotten.
Never Will his memory fad.
Sweet thoughts will ever linger.
Around the spot in fall-off land where he is laid.
Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.
