THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD, AS WE WHO ARE LEFT GROW OLD, AGE SHALL NOT WEARY THEM, NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN, AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN, AND IN THE MORNING, WE SHALL REMEMBER THEM.

[right plaque/plaque de droite]

WITH PRIDE IN THEIR PAST, COURAGE FOR THE PRESENT, AND HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

LORD STRATHCONA'S HORSE (ROYAL CANADIANS), THE KING'S OWN CALGARY REGIMENT, PRINCESS PATRICIA'S CANADIAN LIGHT INFANTRY, THE CALGARY HIGHLANDERS

ERECTED THIS MUSEUM OF THE REGIMENTS TO REMIND ALL WHO COME THIS WAY THAT PEACE IS NEVER CHEAPLY BOUGHT.

HERE DEAD LIE WE BECAUSE WE DID NOT CHOOSE TO LIVE AND SHAME THE LAND FROM WHICH WE SPRUNG. LIFE TO BE SURE, IS NOTHING MUCH TO LOSE, BUT YOUNG MEN THINK IT IS, AND WE WERE YOUNG.

OPENED 30 JUNE 1990 BY HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II
