This memorial is dedicated to the members of Stewarton Church killed during the First World War.

In 1961, the McLeod United and Stewarton United churches amalgamated to become McLeod-Stewarton United Church (MSUC). In 2008 the Bell Street United Church joined McLeod-Stewarton United becoming Centretown United Church.
