This roadmap highlights the many actions of Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and the Department of National Defence (DND) to improve the transition experience for serving members, Veterans and their families.
Each item referenced—either already delivered, in progress or planned—aligns with one of four elements: recognizing service, ensuring successful transition, communicating what matters, and building alignment between our two departments. These elements will work together to create a seamless experience for those who are transitioning with—or out of—the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The roadmap will evolve over time as we work toward a seamless transition.
