"Baptized Joseph-Henri Dubord. Son of Henriette Pintal (deceased in 1888) and Ludovic Dubord (remarried in 1889 to Adèle Guimond and deceased in 1895). Adèle Guimond died in 1904 and they were all from Trois-Rivières.
He named his uncle Onésime Pintal, of Champlain, Mauricie, as next of kin, and Anna Lord (wife of Hercule Garceau), of Trois-Rivières, as adoptive mother and heiress.
Severely wounded to the abdomen during the assault on Regina trench in Courcelette, he died of his wounds at No 9 Casualty clearing station, located in Contay, near Amiens."

CONTAY BRITISH CEMETERY Somme, France
Contay is a village in the Department of the Somme on the main road, Amiens to Arras. The CONTAY BRITISH CEMETERY lies on the left (north east) side of the road to Franvillers. There are no access problems. There is a CWGC road sign next to the church and square of the village and next to the D23, Franvillers - Corbie, sign. The distance from the CWGC sign to the Cemetery is approximately 650 metres.
