Son of Pierre Félix Caron and Aurore Boucher from Québec, Québec.

Enlisted in the Voltigeurs de Québec, he was transferred to the Royal 22e Régiment on 23 December 1943 and arrived in Italy on the 24th. He was killed in action on 15 September 1944 during an assault on Mount Marano. He was buried in Pesaro before being exhumed and reburied in Gradara. He had 782 days' service, including 421 overseas.
