His full name is Henry J. Cassidy.

Son of Henry John Cassidy and Marie Lorette Melançon, of West Bathurst, New Brunswick). In the First World War, Henry John fought in France with the 42nd Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, regimental number 794148.

Lady Hawkins was torpedoed on January 19, 1942, at 7:43 a.m. by U-66 and sank east of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, USA, position 35°N/72°30'W.
