Son of Murray John Chisamore and Ida Rhea Wilke, of Fort William, Ontario.
Cousin of Pilot Officer Joseph Alexander Chisamore, service No. J-93829, of No. 426 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force, killed on return from a raid on Wanne-Eickel, Germany, on February 3, 1945, when his Halifax Bomber crashed in Richborough, Kent, England.
Murray served in Canada, Britain, France and the Netherlands. He had 702 days of service, 286 of which were overseas.
