Wickens, Randolph Morphett - Private. Born 17th October, 1906, in Sussex, England. Entered the service of the Bank 2nd January, 1924. Served at Hamilton city branches, and Ancaster and Thorold, Ont. Enlisted 21st August, 1942, from Hamilton branch in R.C.A.S.C. Overseas in April, 1943. Transferred to 1st Battalion, The Winnipeg Grenadiers (M.G.). Served in France and Belgium. Transferred to Canadian Military Staff Headquarters, Paris, in March, 1945. Hospitalized in England in January, 1946, and invalided to Canada in March, 1946. Died at Hamilton Military Hospital 19th April, 1946. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i> -
