Grave of 1048813 Corp. Ewen McClean Campbell who served with the 242nd Canadian Forestry Corps C.E.F. Born in the town of Stornway in Compton Co. Quebec on Aug. 19th 1864. Husband of Christie Morison Campbell of Vancouver BC. Ewen enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Sept. 19th 1916 listing prior military service of 15 years with the 58th Regt. Vol. Inf. Canadian Militia. He listed his occupation as "Carpenter & Stone Quarryman" Ewen died at Vancouver BC on Oct. 31st 1919 at the age of 55. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC -
