Grave of 130147 Pvt. Augustus John Noonan who served with the 72nd Battn. C.E.F. He was born at Salterns pier cottage at Parkstone Dorset England on May 19th 1887. Augustus enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Dec. 1st 1915, he listed his occupation as "Gardner" Augustus died at Vancouver BC of the Spanish flu on Dec. 26th 1918 at the age of 31. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC. -
