Grave of 76185 Pvt. Steven Pitchford who served with the 29th Battn. C.E.F. (Tobin's Tigers) He was born in Durby England on Nov. 17th 1876. Husband of Isabella Pitchford. Steven enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 16th 1914, he listed his occupation as "Iron steel roller" Steven died at Vancouver BC of the Spanish flu on Feb. 9th 1919 at the age of 42. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC. -
