Clarence Paul was the son of John and Annie Paul, of R.R. 5, Lachute, Quebec. Brother of Gunner James Paul and of Private Stanley Randolph Paul who served with the Middlesex Regiment and died on February 2, 1920. The graves of all three brothers are side by side in the family plot in the Lachute Protestant Cemetery, Quebec.
