This is John Robert, known as Jack Pirie He is my grandfather on my father's side. -

This is my father's father. When he was deployed my grandmother was pregnant with my father. He was killed in September of 1944 and never had the chance to meet my dad. I made a trip to Italy to see his grave stone. I was so impressed with the state of the Cemetery. -
