Commemorating my great-great uncle Eddie (Gerhard Edgar Herbert Schultz) of 101 RCAF Squadron, who died April 28th, 1944. He died after his plane was shot down over Oberwinden, Germany where he was buried in a mass grave at Durnbach War Cemetery. He was a Pilot Officer- ABC Operator and Gunner on a Lancaster Bomber. His name is commemorated on page 438 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance.
