Flight Lieutenant McGill was a student of the University of Toronto 1936-1938.
Flight Lieutenant McGill was taken Prisoner of War in January 1942 after bailing out from his Wellington aircraft. He was one of six Canadian airmen shot after being recaptured during an escape from Stalag Luft 3.
