Gordon Peaker was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peaker of 270 McKay Ave. He attended Brick Street Public School and worked for Dean Russell Drug Stores. He enlisted in London with the First Road Construction Company, Royal Canadian Engineers and was posted overseas in 1941. He was killed in action in Sicily. -
