Son of Doctor Wellington Leroy Pedlow, M.C., M.D., F.A.C.S., and Elsie May (nee Muir) Pedlow, of West Vancouver, British Columbia. Older brother of Alan Le Roy and Ken Pedlow. Lieutenant Pedlow is commemorated on a silver plaque located on the pulpit at St. Francis-in-the-Wood Church, West Vancouver, British Columbia. The text reads as follows: TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF Douglas Stuart Pedlow Who fell in the 2nd Great War 1939 - 1945. To the Glory to God and in Memory of Lieutenant Pedlow is commemorated on a plaque at St. Francis-in-the-Wood Church, West Vancouver, British Columbia.
